As I personal trainer and youth fitness coach I understand the problems facing adults and children. I know these problems are common in almost all civilized world.
Obesity, diabetes and other approach to life related disease are on the rise so getting kids included in physical activity early the form.
There are "critical" periods throughout the of different physical attributes is like coordination, balance, endurance, reliability etc.
If you help the children develop these attributes at right time to, they will likely be great at them throughout life style. If you miss practicing these critical periods, your child's of these attributes is just not optimal.
Even if they try to train these following that, it will be slower and will not likely reach their workable. This is an important incontrovertible fact that should encourage parents to transmit their kids for an physical activity as quickly as possible.
Here are some ideas to critical periods for any other skills. There are minor differences between genders as to when these critical periods begin and end, but here are the guidelines.
A critical period means that at that time, the child will dress up as especially gifted in improving in such an physical attribute. Thus you could focus on this attribute while doing this critical period.
Age 0-6: Gorgeous unstructured play. That means sustain your kids active. When I was this age, I played in sand, finger painting, play-doh, Lego and multiple other physical activities. This is the simplest way. Run around and deed!
Age 6-7 & 10-11: Kinesthetic Difference between the two. Telling the difference concerning the different densities, weights, smoothness etc
Age 6-8: Synchronization of motion. Jumping while dribbling, propelling your arms while running
Age 7-9: Rhythmic motion. Dance, clapping, music
Age 8-10: A reaction to sound and visual signals
Age 9-10: Balance
Age 8-13: Routine Skills. How to start, stop jump, land, alternative etc
Age 12-14: Spatial Angle. Knowing where your follicles and skin (and its parts) are in space
So if you're sending your kids to playschool to ensure that the activities help for many years in these areas to extend their potential. Young kids aren't required to lift huge weights. Relatively, learn to move, and become strong later.
As a tutor I have helped very quickly make many fast sharks strong, but it takes considerably longer to make a hardy but uncoordinated athlete at the beginning. So focus on coordination during your child's younger years and they will will have a great chance of being good athlete.
The best part about this is that their increased athletic ability help to increase their participation in physical activities and sports because kids (and every single us) tend to do more of the points we are good at the. That is wonderful news steer clear of diseases and health problems with inactivity.
This is a great lifelong gift you can provide in their mind.
